Fastest WordPress Hosting: What to Measure Before You Believe a Winner
A host can be fast in one test and mediocre in another. Good hosting comparisons separate origin response, cached delivery, dynamic work, geography, and application configuration.
Measure the right things
- Origin TTFB: useful for server and application responsiveness, especially when cache is bypassed.
- Cached page delivery: shows what a CDN or full-page cache can do for repeatable public content.
- Dynamic requests: checkout, account, search, admin, and other uncached routes can stress PHP and databases differently.
- Consistency: median and tail latency across repeated tests matter more than one lucky run.
- Geography: test near and far from the origin, with CDN behavior documented.
Why we do not simply declare WPX “the fastest”
