Methodology

Hosting Review Methodology

Our launch reviews are documentation-led. Performance rankings require stronger evidence than product-page claims.

Documentation review

We evaluate plan structure, site limits, storage, bandwidth or visits, CPU/RAM/PHP capacity where published, backup and restore terms, migration scope, security layers, support, CDN/caching, staging, and billing terms.

Comparisons

We compare the dimensions that differ materially between providers. A host may be better for one buyer and worse for another because the plan model, infrastructure control, resource limits, or operational tooling differ.

Performance testing standard

We do not call a host “fastest” based solely on its own marketing. A defensible test should document the site build, PHP/WordPress versions, cache state, test locations, traffic model, run count, measurement period, and limitations. Dynamic and cached tests should be distinguished.

Pricing

Promotional prices are time-sensitive. We focus on the billing commitment and resource value, and we direct readers to verify current checkout terms before purchasing.
